Yes, a brand new tune out of the House of KOTU! We kinda went a lil back to our roots with this one. 808 and 303 with a few beats and a bassline, recorded straight into the multitracker, some vocals, a JX marimba and a square-pad. Nothing more, nothing less, just STRICTLY JACKIN’ ACID HOUSE!

It’s 2010 and we’re finally back! “What I Like” is the new jacking summer anthem from KOTU, ready to hit the streets! The song was originally released by Anthony & The Camp back in 1986, and as the original is so effing brilliant we just had to cover it! Listen to – and download – “What I Like” right away!

The Acid Love 303 pattern – Here it is!

I was kind of bored.. So why not take a minute to transcribe the 303 pattern from Acid Love into a language that all you acid heads can understand? Here it is, the Acid Love 303 line, all analog handwritten on a regular piece of paper. Just grab your 303 and enter the info, and you can jack it like we do!

KOTU – P3 Lab's Artist of the month!

Sveriges Radio

Yes! Sweden’s biggest radio station, P3, makes Kings of the Universe “Artist of the month” in the weekly P3 Lab-show! We are very excited about this and hope that this will gain our airplay in national radio. Here is a link to P3 Lab 11th of March, where you can hear “Acid Love” and after that, Pelle Moeld announce us as the artist of the month (about 5 minutes in, and yeah, in Swedish!).
