Yes, a brand new tune out of the House of KOTU! We kinda went a lil back to our roots with this one. 808 and 303 with a few beats and a bassline, recorded straight into the multitracker, some vocals, a JX marimba and a square-pad. Nothing more, nothing less, just STRICTLY JACKIN’ ACID HOUSE!
What I Like!
It’s 2010 and we’re finally back! “What I Like” is the new jacking summer anthem from KOTU, ready to hit the streets! The song was originally released by Anthony & The Camp back in 1986, and as the original is so effing brilliant we just had to cover it! Listen to – and download – “What I Like” right away!

Mud, rain, music, beer and bands! I was spinning records together with Freshest this weekend at a Swedish festival called Arvikafestivalen. It was almost the same crew that I worked with on Peace & Love and we rocked the shit out of the festival and my shoes!
My records will be spinning at this wicked Estonian party. Hats will be flying, skirts will be twirling and the music will be so loud people in Sweden will get Tinnitus . So if you dare, come to Tallinn July 2nd. This will be WILD!!
I made a remix for our good friends Art Acoustic, and guess what? It was juuust dropped! Listen to it in the player above, or download it by clicking here. The original song was just released on Art Acoustic‘s debut EP called “EP#1″. For the “EP#1″ full download, just visit Art Acoustic online!
The remix is maybe a little different than your average KOTU stuff, but yet, I managed to fit the JUNO-106 in there, together with some Linn samples and of course the TR-727. It also features some excellent guitar overdubs by Swedish indie upcomer Martin Senter. Check out his music here.
So I’m off to Swedens biggest music festival Peace & Love. I’m gonna play with a few of the best dancers in Sweden, showing what they got right in front of my turntables. Dancers will be the fabulous P’fect, Carolina Havervall, Yayya and the popping group ATATA. Click here for more info.
