Yes, a brand new tune out of the House of KOTU! We kinda went a lil back to our roots with this one. 808 and 303 with a few beats and a bassline, recorded straight into the multitracker, some vocals, a JX marimba and a square-pad. Nothing more, nothing less, just STRICTLY JACKIN’ ACID HOUSE!
What I Like!
It’s 2010 and we’re finally back! “What I Like” is the new jacking summer anthem from KOTU, ready to hit the streets! The song was originally released by Anthony & The Camp back in 1986, and as the original is so effing brilliant we just had to cover it! Listen to – and download – “What I Like” right away!

What’s KOTU doing nowadays? Style got a bit worried over seeing nothing new coming from KOTU, but we could calm them down, breaking the news of the new single coming out. Read the whole article by clicking the picture (sorry international folks.. only in Swedish..).
Loffe did this quick spy-camera thing for your entertainment. This is from yesterdays recording of our forthcoming track “Our time will come” @ Soundism Studios. We still got a few things to lay down, but after today, the recording will be all set for mixing!
And for all of you recording geeks: The vocals were recorded not with the U87 but with a Brauner VM1 matched with Vladis own custom made power supply. The result turned out great and we’re very excited to hear the vocals fully mixed with the rest of the tracks, and with a nice 480L verb over it.
